Noelle Karleen

Piano, voice, and choir

Noelle Karleen graduated from Sul Ross State University in 2022 with her bachelor's in piano performance. She has been teaching piano lessons in the Big Bend area. Ms. Karleen directs the Big Bend Children's Chorus and the Vivace Youth Choir. She hopes to offer more music instruction in the Alpine and Big Bend areas in the future.

Chuck Wilson

Brass, Woodwind and Percussion

Mr. Wilson has directed bands and taught children, teens and adults to love music for over 30 years. His principal instrument is the trumpet. He teaches many different instruments. As well as teaching technical proficiency and expression, he emphasises the enjoyment and love of music in his teaching.

Ashton Haines

Guitar

Ashton Haines has been playing and studying guitar for about 11 years. Some of his accomplishments include playing across the country as a member of the Sandy UT School of Rock Houseband. As a member of the house band, he was also expected to mentor younger students on guitar, which is where some of his experience with teaching comes from. He was also selected to participate in a Jazz ensemble organized by the University of Houston for a music festival. Both of these expereinces required high-level theory knowledge, guitar expertise, and an audition. He is currently studying music performance with a focus in classical guitar at Sul Ross. His plans are to pursue a career in teaching lessons in guitar and performing onstage as a guitarist.
